I hadn’t realized you made it to goal weight! Way to go! Whoohoo!

Thanks, peeper! I bounce around for sure, but I've been spending more time a pound or more above than actually at goal for a long time. So much so that I've almost decided my "goal" anymore is to just stay blue, which remains up to two above goal. I'd really love to have a "Lonnie buffer" and be well enough below goal to not bounce above it ever, but...it just might not happen! I'm actually OK with it because I am a lot fitter than I was, so... 😁

I’m the same! I’d love to stay 115-120 so I’m always just below goal (120-125).

This morning my buffer has a big dent in it, Melissa. I got some work to do over the next couple days. 🔧

Peeper! BUT... you aren't the same! You win this "game!" I can't seem to stay below goal, while you always are well brelow! 😢 I guess our desires are the same, so I at least get to be like you some way!!!😁

You'll be perfect, Lonnie! 💙 I gained a bit to right at goal today. It is lovely though to have a gain that doesn't push me over. I'm not complaining! 😁

It’s taken me a year and a half or so of maintenance to get and stay below goal weight though. You’ll get your buffer at some point! I remember several months being just under or just over goal weight. Up and down up and down before finally getting to the lower end of my range and staying there. That’s why I have a 5# range. I’d like to always be 120# exactly lol. That’s not possible so I’m happy up to 125 or even as low as 115. Having a range means less worry for me.

The end of this month will be a year since I first hit goal. I am happy I haven't gone up too much over that time, but it has been a bumpy ride up and down! I think my first year I was just hanging on by the skin of my teeth. I'm hoping the coming one to be more about grace and control and learning to balance everything better. I heard somewhere that if you maintain for a year, your body gets used to the weight and isn't fighting you quite so much. Maybe that is true or maybe you just figure out how to maintain better! I am looking forward to the coming year and am totally determined to keep going and getting better at this. Even if I do just keep my goal to always remain blue, thst will be a step forward, but if I could be like you and keep my "range" always below goal... That would be amazing!!! 😁

Wow I didn’t realize it had been that long. I knew you’d been blue for awhile but up and down like you said. I agree about our body not fighting us as much. I can now eat 100-200 over my ‘burn’ and maintain. Even without lifting weights 3x a week! Some of that may be healing using some calories though as I read it takes a full 6-8 weeks to completely heal inside and out.

You wouldn't know because I've been constantly struggling to just keep blue!!!😂 Since we may as well continue our chat... 😁 How is the healing going? Are you able to work out at all, or just your regular, busy stuff handling the work with your kids and livestock and property?

Oops sry, I’d went to bed. I’m healing well thanks. I see the dr next week to see when I get to go to the gym again. From past experience I know he would tell me not to the first couple of weeks because while the outside looks healed the inside isn’t. I’ve even gotten used to the surgical bra even with its built in ‘nips’ lol. As for the house stuff, I’m not doing most of that. I’ve carried some cat food (30#) short distances, case of propel water etc, but nothing too heavy. Haven’t even messed with the rose bushes. I’ve just been picking up, running errands, taking kids to practice, cooking, laundry, reading and playing spades. Even got in a nap yesterday and have watched a couple hours of tv last week. Kinda liking the couch potato life again lol.
