Thanks, Chris! You should see this bush right now! It is an absolute bank of flowers! With the rain we had yesterday, it weighed down the yellows on the other side of the walkway, so that between the two bushes we can barely get past to the front door! 😁  

Hummm! I shall have to try with the daisies! They sure flopped, but my roses... I won't change what I do with them. They are OK and I don't want to mess with what is working. They are just so heavy with blooms that the rain weighed them down. They will pop back up... Just like scale numbers! 😁

Awesome!!! And those daisies... I propped them up a bit and they are still happily in bloom. I am so surprised! I thought with the kinked stems, as when you saw them, it was over. They just look wimpy but ok! I'll cage them in a bit better next spring!

A perfect rose. This photo is especially touching to me. My grandfather's hobby was growing roses. Every color & kind. Every week he brought my mom several bouquets of them. Every room in our house smelled heavenly! Such good memories. Thanks for posting this photo 🥰

Thank you, JC! Aintgotaname, that is so precious! I'm glad you shared. I am the first of my "line" to be interested in roses, so I've been trying to learn all I can since I started about 6 years ago. We bought a house with one, and I started adding two or three a year. It is a wonderful hobby that sure gives back. Thank you, Carol.! That is kind to say! Raindrops make roses look so fresh and pretty!  

Melissa, you're so welcome. Yellow roses were and are still my favorite. Shirfluer, He's was great. The man could bake too. Made is own bread every week and took us fishing all the time. Rough on the outside (miner & steel worker, teddy bear on the inside. I've enjoyed this stroll down memory lane. Thanks ya'll!💛 

Aintgotaname! My next flowers will be for you! I just took a picture of my lemon yellow bush! It is so incredibly fragrant that I wish I could share its perfume also! I'll post it with my weigh in tomorrow. You are certainly blessed to have such lovely memories of your grandpa!!
