Sausage sure does help to get Fat percentage up, but it makes staying in my calorie range harder. Went slightly over 2,000 Calories yesterday, but still lost 1/2 pound this morning, Praise the Lord. Down 4 pounds this week so far, for which I'm very thankful. God has made it pretty easy for me to stick with the program. No social events to have to go to, nobody offering to take me out to lunch, I'm not BUYING things that I shouldn't be eating, and I don't have that overwhelming desire to eat ALL DAY anymore. I still do like to have a little something every couple hours, but it is things that I have PLANNED for and that fit within my macros (boiled egg, string cheese, Atkins bar, hot tea) instead of things that make me crave sugar (ice cream, Little Debbie cakes, and BREAD as the main ingredient in every mean). Five days down -- a lifetime to go!
108.4 kg Lost so far: 9.1 kg.    Still to go: 40.4 kg.    Diet followed: 100%.

Yes, @elizabethknappert, I am doing Keto. I successfully lost over 50 pounds with it before, but have been gorging myself on bread and sweets for the past 7 months, so this week is a new start for me.

Keep in mind that one gram of fat has roughly twice as many calories as a gram of protein or a gram of carbs, so anything high in fat will eat into your calories quickly.

I am unable to do keto, as I am always too tempted to join in family get togethers, or I want things when I go out to eat, so I don’t have the willpower to do the keto lifestyle. I had to come up with a plan that made NOTHING off limits, and that I could do the rest of my life. I do try to eat healthy the majority of the time however. I wish you continued success on the path you’ve chosen :)
