Oh my, an eclair - wow haven't had a decent eclair in - can't remember. Congrats on another new low. Likely all the yard work as you say. Enjoy. I haven't had time to log my food lately but looking at your choices above is making me hungry! I am going back to Scotland in October for 10 days and can't wait to sample some 'real' good baked goods.

Thank you, dear! I am very TIRED now... but it was a great day. Had to buy some new clothes as none of mine fit anymore. Nice problem to have. Hugs and get some rest...

New clothes, yes, I bet you did. Nice feeling and will encourage you to keep going. Awww, thanks for the hugs, I am a hugger and can use all the 'lovin' I can get these days, its what keeps me going :). I am resting sitting here, and its so nice not to have to think or plan or 'do' for anybody. Its just unfortunate that there is only hubby and I left in the family, plus our daughter. My brother is passed away, as is my father in law, my own mum and my dad. Hubby's sister died too, so ther is only us to look after the two elderly folk in our lives - my sister, much older than me, with the start of dementia and now hubby's mum. It's not easy but so far so good, we are pulling together and that helps. I sure miss my daughter though, she is a great help with mum-in-law. Sorry for blethering on in your comment space - I could talk to a wall I'm sure :) See you around :)

You are welcome any time! Thank you for sharing with me. You know, I hate to admit it, but my folks are both gone and I never had to deal with the long term health issues. My older sister cared for my mom and then I was thinking that I would have the issues with her, but then she passed at only 53 herself (severe obesity). So, I'm the oldest person in my family save for a first cousin... and now my wife Denise and I have her parents to care for. They are OK now, but time marches on... Life is good and you are one of the reasons. I treasure your posts and our cyberspace friendship. Your friend, Bill

Wow, thanks Bill! Sorry to hear about your sister, that really sucks but there are so much worse things than death - my mother was very fond of saying that!!! I hope your in-laws health issues don't develop into anything major, this caring for the elderly isn't for the faint of heart but you do what you need to do, don't you? Yes life is good, especially when you know you are doing the right things to keep as healthy as we know how to. Have an awesome day buddy, we just rock, don't we ? LOL
