jcmama777's Journal, 21 Jul 20

Just had my rheumatologist appointment. Hence the weigh in. 🤗 BP 120/80, pulse 108. My fibromyalgia is bad so getting put back on Gabapentin. My methotrexate was upped to 8 💊 a week ( 20 mg) from 6, but my labs show its affecting my kidney/liver. So now I’m starting methotrexate injections as it’s less damaging then the pill. I had both knees X-ray and I’m to wear knee braces with all exercise and and at work. She wants me to see ortho for a consult for bilateral shoulders. I have calculations in both that has been debilitating for years, worse the last year and she thinks I need surgery. I have very limited range of motion. Encouraging swimming. I said oh know problem because it’s my favorite 🤗💪. So that’s that. Hope you’re all having a great and safe Tuesday friends ☺️☺️💪💪☀️☀️💜💚

Resting pulse 108 ? Tendons calcified ?!

Calcific tendinitis in both shoulders. It’s a build up of calcium in my rotator cuffs and they are a decent size and growing. It’s ridiculously painful 😣. Oh, I have sinus tachycardia. I range from 78 bpm to 132 bmp. I have had that most of my life.

Thank you aintgotaname, it’s definitely not fun friend, we just have to keep pressing on🙌💪 I had my dosage wrong 25 mg injections. I give injections all the time and draw blood all the time. I might just have someone at work give me mine once a week. 💛💜💚

The most important thing is to be on top of your medical conditions and make decisions that help to improve the conditions and work with your life style (or make lifestyle modifications when needed). You got this girl!

Just out of interest have you tried D ribose for the fibro ? its a natural supplement and could be used alongside your meds as far as i am aware . All the best . btw I have CFS and it has helped me more than anything else ever has.

I hope the doctors are able to provide you with some relief. Amazing that you are able to work serving others' while you yourself are in such pain. Very admirable and courageous.
