Thanks all!!! Now if I don't gain again after today... 😁💙 I was busily spraying my roses (thankfully something totally nontoxic) when I turned around and there he was. He was so big... I think about four inches long!!! 🖤💙🖤💙

Thank you! And, Lonnie, I was lucky! Funny thing was the little guy flew away after I got a photo, but then came back to the bush! It was like he knew I needed a better picture! 😁

Thank you, rivy! Lonnie, I love those photos. Those otters!!!!! They have the cutest faces ever! I have a son who has loved otters since he was tiny. I used to try to find stuffed otters for him and he still had them!!! I think it was because our zoo has a fantastic encloser for river otters, and we could see them swim underwater. He would watch them forever! I'll show him your photo! Yes, so much of photography is just having the right moment for sure!  

I love otters too, Melissa. We actually saw a whole family of otters at Fish Creek Reservoir a couple weeks ago, but every time I got my camera aimed in their direction, they'd instantly disappear underwater.
