Debbie Cousins's Journal, 29 Jun 20

Well, didn't gain as much as I THOUGHT I would this week. I can't believe I'm in the 240's! Just still have NO motivation to get back on a healthy WOE (Way of Eating, for you newbies). Happy to report that I have enough green beans to make another small pot, and there are still lots of new buds on the bushes. Hope everyone has a great week. I still want to see everyone be successful, even when I am NOT being so myself. I'll catch up -- even though I'm WAY behind right now. Though I have given up TRYING for the moment, I haven't given up HOPING for the future!

Hi Debbie, Don't be discouraged. I believe in you and know that you can do this. Keep your head up. You have 75.31b to go and I'm going to celebrate with you when goal is reached!

Did you know that the scale fluctuates based on water and sodium intake? You probably didn't gain anything. Most likely your either a Tad bloated or drank a lot of water. Either way, you should be proud of yourself because you are trying to become a healthier version of yourself. Hope you see the progress your looking for. Remember sustainable weight loss takes time.

I so understand! I sat around and ate for months watching the numbers go up. I just didn't seem able to pull myself out of that mindset. I've FINALLY managed to get on track and I have faith that you will too. I really have to take it one day at a time and plan plan plan

Nancy, sometimes if you cut calories back too much your body goes into starvation mode and you stop losing. I eat 1500-1600 calories a day, practice CICO, have no food restrictions ( though I mostly eat fresh, unprocessed, foods) as long as they fit into my RDI (recommended daily intake), lead a sedentary life due to various health issues, and I am losing weight. Have you checked what your RDI is? Good luck on your journey, I hope joining a WOE (way of eating) that works for you. 🌈

Thank you Debbie, I eat nothing processed unless a meal from trader Joe’s as a quick fix when hungery . I seem to be back on track. Some times nights are the worse unless my mind is busy. I love Spinach, mushroom, onions, cauliflower in a fry pan (sprayed with Pam and 2 TBS of Trader Joe’s caso dip. Hope you are well and thank you for the words of encouragement! I somedays just need to plan better I have lost finally!yayaya, so that is a big way to keep eating healthy
