I know... I'm currently on prednisone (started yesterday) for contact dermatitis from yard work last Saturday. I was ready to amputate my legs- scratching myself bloody. 60 mg of prednisone and I swear it is a freaking miracle drug. I have totally different side effects than others. (I'll probably jinx myself and wake up heavy tomorrow) but I feel very energetic and a little overly sweaty (gross) and I talk quite a bit- insomnia- all which is common I guess- but I cannot anticipate a gain based on my activity level. And it makes me euphoric which I enjoy. But I'm on it for 15 days- a tapering dose how they always do with steroids and we shall see if I'm back in the 190's by the 4th of July. Either way- At elast I'm not scratching anymore. It was hell!

Poison ivy or oak? Hopefully you feel better

I have no idea which - if either. My health is always perfect except for skin issues. I have it all- rosacea, psoriasis that comes and goes, exczema that I cannot spell correctly, and any kind of pulling weeds leaves me a mess. I knew better. I forgot how miserable I would be and should have put on long pants and sleeves. For some reason I thought if I hurried and jumped in the shower afterwards, it would be ok. And my yard looks like crap anyhow. It isn't like you, Melissa, or katsolo. I have Salvia that have flopped over and a rose bush that doesn't want to bloom when a similar kind used to do well. I saw your "view from your office" pic and thought how my/our view from the office looks onto the yard as well and you see a deck that needs to be powerwashed badly and grass that is patchy and well- way too much information. Hope I answered your question. LOL. I feel like a million bucks right now, to be honest.

I feel you - my son is exactly the same way - any outdoor work gives him hives. That’s a tough way to go but glad you are feeling better. And quite frankly I’m so heads down on my computer most of the time - it didn’t dawn on me until I shared that pic that the view was pretty good. My daughter just moved out so I co-opted her room for my office. Benefits of empty nesting. And I appreciate you sharing. Thanks!
