Update..
Last week was average of 1975 cals and 110 lbs. Just where I should be. Have had some really hungry days lately but my body seems to absorb the energy somehow. I trust it knows what it is doing.

I have done my challenge exercises. Finally "healed" after my big lifting day so tomorrow weight bench and weight bar again. Today is just running and challenge exercises. Gyms opened but I am a member of the city run recreational centre and they have not opened.

My husband got a piece of mystery meat (it is beef but the cut is unclear) and he wants to make African Stew. Neither of us is quite sure what that is... LOL. So this will be an experiment. If anyone has a tip let me know.

I will let you guys know how this ends up. I am thinking it means stewing meat in pepper and tomatoes. So that is the plan... boil it then stew it...

Just some people who visited a farm and bought some beef in bulk and gave my husband some pieces. So it is fine but I think it looks like it needs stewing

season and sear the meat and braise it slow in the oven with some nice red wine and veggies and beef stock then make a nice gravy from the braising liquid over some mash potatoes goodness gracious with a nice fresh veg and salad and call me for dinner

Stew turned out very good. Fun trying something new. My husband got the meat from his Nigerian born college so that is why he wanted to try an African dish. I think we pulled it of but did not quite make it as hot as they probably like it that culture. Bill I do not do monster workouts.. But I like to be active.

Nice friend 💪💪💪💪 that African stew sounds awesome! Dukka and berbere spices are often used as well as tumeric, cumin, paprika and allspice. In dishes in general. Very savory spices. 💜💚
