Sunday is over. Had a nice day. Went for a long walk with my daughter. I am looking for spring flowers but non to be found yet. We made tomato soup and keto crackers for supper and a mocha coffee with chocolate for dessert.

I know Adef. 5 weeks of this already. No end in sight but we are apparently going to get some news about relaxing some rules today. Just have to be careful. It was a good day Jcmama... weather is slowly turning for the better. I enjoy cooking with my daughter. She eats a lot of keto food with me and enjoy it even if that is not here WOE

@liv001 - More people are walking around down here in Southern California. I doubt't the Governor can keep a lid on this for more than 4 more weeks. I just hope we don't get a 'second wave'...

How long have you been doing Keto? I lost 9 pounds in 7 weeks on a so called balanced diet but it had too many carbs for my body and I got stuck. I switched things up and have been doing Keto for a week and lost 3 lbs. Any words of advice?

I think the lockdown is limiting the spread Adef but unless heat of the summer helps us we will likely be stuck with some restrictions till vaccine or drug comes around. Some countries and states? are trying lifting a bit so we will have to watch what happens there. So far so good, it looks like.

@Skippy2Me. I have done keto since October 2018 when I found myself beins size 20 and XXL and more and probably close to 200lbs but I did not have a scale back then. I have been on it since although I am not sticking to 20 net carbs every day now that I am at goal. My advice on keto is that it is a diet you have to keep to. If you like the foods in it, as I do that is no problem. If you struggle with eating lots of proteins and fats keto may not be the diet for you

@liv001 congratulations on your success! I love the food on Keto and just need more recipes. Let me know if you have recommendations. I am doing Keto for now and May switch back to Mediterranean after a few weeks of Keto to keep tricking my metabolism. I used Keto to lose ~13 lbs last year and only gained 3 back when I stopped watching portions/carbs. This February, I started back on my wellness journey and am down a total of 12 lbs now. I have a goal of another 28 lbs.

Sounds like you are doing very well Skippy. Those sound like good plans and approaches. What kind of food do you enjoy Skippy? I mostly do just normal food but do not eat the carb elements. I like food. LOL. This week I have made tomato soup with home made keto crackers and boiled eggs. I cooked salmon. Had it with roasted vegges. and sausages with stir fried veggies. I had taco salad a couple of days. Today I am making chicken cacciatore. I will eat that with a side of greens I think but the rest of the family will have pasta. I usually only eat once or twice a day. I had egg and bacon earlier today and some high fat yogurt with my own strawberry rhubarb compote. All depends on what you like. It is pretty versatile diet. Some good websides out there if you google something, you will find good suggestions. But ask away if there is something you wonder about

Sometimes mocha coffee is the only thing that gets me through that last bit of the day... Hope you have a good weekend as well. It looks like we will have nice weather so I want to walk in my sandals outdoors

Ha Bells. I am pretty tolerant to coffee - Scandinavian roots LOL. I drink it in the evening and have not trouble sleeping due to that at least
