Having a good time with my grand daughter. She's been really good. She LOVES to cook, and asked me if I'd teach her how to make Cherry Cheesecake Tarts yesterday, which she really enjoyed doing. (I also made Cinnamon Rolls with her yesterday morning, because I've shown her a couple times and having her do more and more of the procedures each time. Now, she does everything except the actual rolling of them (she doesn't like getting her hands into things). She creamed me at Skip-Bo yesterday, winning six games in a row. I've created a monster!

Too funny. Most kids love to get their hands into dough.

My grand daughter, Maebie, is enjoying being here. Every hour or so, we will have a "best 2 out of 3" Skip-Bo challenge. She's gotten to the point where I'm going to have to stop telling her when she forgets to play a card, and I'm going to have to start blocking her from being able to play cards. Time to bring out the big guns as she has improved so much in just a couple days of instruction. Has anyone ever played Dutch Blitz? Used to be that the only place you could buy the game was in Pennsylvania. We used to love playing it with friends, but our cards are long gone.
