Up a bit more. Probably would've stayed the same but I'm forcing myself to get up at 5 a.m. and get back to a routine. If this is the new norm need to get a schedule figured out and do it. Back at it. I have been off for a week and a sucky home workout program is better than no lifting at all.

No sleep for me last night. I need to stop watching the news in the evening. You're right Princess, time to get back into a routine.

I am struggling with keeping myself in line also. But am also trying not to beat myself up, and remembering these are unpredictable times and our world is nuts! Mostly I'm just trying to eat healthy and stay active, because both of those things are good for the immune system, and that's what's important right now...not a few extra fat rolls. 😉

I agree something is better than nothing. I’m surprised how home workout is affecting my body. Better than I thought. Keep going! We are all here for you !

Sleeping well but dream every night about the virus. Not scary but too realistic where you don't feel rested because you were working all night. 🤷🏻‍♀️ unsure if that makes sense. Sleeping but tired. Today up at 5 and feeling good so far. Did not do my home workout. Lmao. Got up two hours early for nothing. Maybe tonight.

Do the best you can with the situation at hand. I think that’s what we are all trying to do. It’s hard to be forced out of your daily / weekly routines, wether it’s food, shopping, exercise, work. Everyone’s going through it. It’s so frustrating especially when you have to eat foods not in your normal habits. Your an inspiration to keeping up with your exercise & healthy living. Keep moving forward and stay focused. Stay safe 🍀🍀🍀🍀🌈🌈🌈🌈💕💕💕💕😊

I don't have much of a routine right now. But then, I've been retired since 2015 and have had this problem off and on. I make resolutions every New Year to get up and dressed every day! Sometimes it's too easy to just stay in a warm cozy bed and binge watch shows I've recorded. But now it's worse, because the few things I did have in my routine, like the gym and playing mah jong at the clubhouse (now closed) or meeting friends for lunch, are off the table. But I have nature outside that is really entertaining. I leave peanuts out for the squirrels and blue jays and sunflower chips for the birds. I enjoy watching them and trying to identify some of the birds I haven't seen before. But getting up at 5am? I do that sometimes because I sleep poorly, otherwise I enjoy sleeping until 6 at least if I can.

Same here. Our state just voted for distance learning starting April 6th. I’m a stay at home mom but this is going to rearrange my schedule a lot lol. Any workout is better than nothing. The sucky part is that our gym is still billing us saying they are helping the community. So far just handing out food for the food bank not helping the community themselves (other than paying their salary employees to hand out the food).

Peeperjj - can't believe the gym would still be billing you - it seems like you should be able to get a refund. My gym sent an email saying they wouldn't be billing us as soon as the governor told us to stay home (California). I did manage to go out for a walk in spite of my bad allergies and the breeze. But it was nice to get out.

It’s the YMCA. Our local ywca runs a women’s shelter. As far as I know all our Ymca does is offer reduced price memberships to lower income families and free sports. Sports have been canceled and the email stated those fees won’t be returned either. If we want a refund we can apply for one and they’ll bring it up for review. Email stated they would continue billing everyone so they could help the community. So far all they've done is get food from the food bank for kids 18 and under and hand them out at the YMCA so lines will be shorter at the food bank. If they were helping the shelter, buying food for the needy, letting the homeless come inside at night to sleep and shower (Using the money toward soap, sleeping bags, utilities) etc I could see it. They like to toot their own horn in their Facebook page and in the news and we haven’t seen anything since this started other than having another station for the food bank. We may consider another gym after this if they don’t use the money to help the community.

Chris you're right, but I have friends in New York and New Orleans and I have family in the medical field, so I feel compelled to know what is going on and whether our response is improving and what the numbers are there and here. Just can't help myself. 😞
