My weight didn't move this week. I will get it back down to goal, but I decided to do measurements. I've only taken them once before, and that was middle of October. I was shocked! I'm two pounds heavier at the moment but I've lost nearly everywhere. Natural waist has gone down a full inch to 29 inches. Across my belly I went down 2. Hips down an inch. Upper chest down an inch. A quarter to a half inch lost here and there at other places. The ONLY place I did not see movement was my upper thigh. 😒 That is the main place I would love to see get slimmer. Any tips? Stop doing so much leg work or do more? Run more? Stop worrying about it? I've got plenty of fat to lose there. I know it isn't all muscle. Anyway, lesson learned by experience now! Muscles weigh a lot! 😁
66.9 kg Lost so far: 19.8 kg.    Still to go: 0 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Very good news about inches. I wish I could help you with the thighs. It has been very slow moving for me as well in that area LOL.

Thank you, liv! Good to know I'm not alone. Maybe someone will have a suggestion! 😁

Congratulations! I would definitely take a smaller size over a scale number any day. Stop worrying? Yes! But having goals to improve your form - if that is what you want - are worth pursuing. I don't have the answer - I have very muscular calves but above the knees is a mess. I'm sure there are specific exercises that would target that area. Thigh master?

Yay! When the scale doesn’t move then measurements are great to keep track of progress. I need to measure again but I’m looking for an arm and leg gain this time.

Thanks Bella! I want both... the inches gone and my goal weight to stay the same. :) I am wondering if so many weighted squats and lunges and other leg workouts are maybe not my friend in this area. Just going to watch and see. Thanks, Peep! I am thankful to have some good "feedback" from the tape measure. I have been working out pretty hard, so it is sure an encouragement! hope you get your arm and leg gain you are hoping for! :)

Keyten! I am happy the waist measurement is lower. Supposedly that means I have very little visceral fat, which is the worst for health? Anyway, yes, I will just keep working out and being really careful... Maybe the thighs will slim down just a bit more over time. That would be nice! 😁 Thank you for being such a wonderful help and encourager!! ❤️ Can you fathom in "Gone With the Wind Scarlett with her 18 inch waist? Must have been 4'11" tall! Not my clunky 5'8"😁

I know that feeling of remeasuring and being like YES!!!! Although I don't quite know the feeling of a 29" waist...yet. Good job! I would just keep doing legs. I just lift and legs fits into the rotation 2-3 days a week and I lose from my legs so that would be my advice! Great work!

Thanks, Princess! ❤️ And, thanks for the advice. It seems to be logical that the biggest muscles need to be worked a lot since they are going to use the most energy... Calories? I don't think muscle growth will outpace fat loss on my legs... I hope. If I start gaining inches there, that will be another story! 😁 I'll check in another month!

Congrats on the loss of inches!! I doubt I'll ever see a 29" waist. My goal is to hit 145 in 2020. I'm shorter than you, so not quite the same.😀

Yeah girl! You're doing SO well, I'm so proud of you!

You will lose fat in different areas at different times depending on your genes. That is one thing you can't change naturally at least lol

I always lose inches from the top down, with my legs being the last place that slim down. Walking and running helps speed up the process. Nice amount of inches lost!

The great thing about lifting is that you can lose fat and build muscle simultaneously making each inch lost more dramatic in the mirror.

Congrats on your NSV!!!

Thank you so much Sherry and Bill! Angelgirl, that means so much to me! Diablo, I know we can not "spot lose" fat... it leaves from where it wants to leave. :) I just wonder if all my work lifting using legs is actually causing size increase in muscles faster than the fat is leaving on my thighs. I am not distressed. I am just wondering. My calves and just above knees are down half an inch. I'm also going to guess my measuring is less than perfect either before or now! The margin for error is probably high when dealing with such a small increment. :) A couple inches different are easier to measure! Frizy, I tend to lose pretty evenly, but I do carry less above for sure. :) Thank you John!

Hey SkinnyGirl! You’re doing amazing! I’m catching up and loving all the great advice here. 🦖💕🌈✨❤️😘🎉

Thank you, dear Becky! ❤️ It is funny that when we were visiting we were just steps from my gym I was about to start using. 😁 I am so thankful to be able to go there. It is a lot easier to make progress than when I was just working out at home. Adultosaur, thank you for your sweet encouragement! I'm really trying! 💕

Yes, I am leaner yet my thighs are larger. If you don't have much fast to lose on them, you can definitely make them larger or they will at least measure the same.
