FullaBella's Journal, 18 Nov 19

Wowza. Nearly 11 hours sleep last night. Well, I don't have any scientific technical things to measure if it was actual sleep but at least I wasn't conscious for the normal frustrated “watching hours tick away” part.

I needed it. I was fried. Deep fried in beer batter. Well, I didn’t have any beer or batter but you get the idea. Mainly the one that indicates it wasn’t enough sleep to restore my sanity. Moving on.

I hit this ‘new low’ on Saturday morning, then watched it bounce back up Sunday then back down here today so .. I’m recording it because of this ‘discovery’.

Okay, it’s not a discovery. I just finally connected the freaking dots. If you’ve been on here a long time like me, sometimes you want to do a look back on ‘what was I doing then’ - food diary, journal thoughts.. Etc. I’ve always tried that ‘next’ link above the journal… which.. can be a bit massive for someone like me who records daily. I figured out (Hey, I’m slow but I finally caught it) that by going to my weight history I can also access the other areas easier. So, there. So much easier.

Medic!! I need a coffee refill!!

Moo - you predicted it the other day. Shall we go for a double? Meh, I'm happy. Weirdly happy. I haven't starved or dropped my intake to some impossible to maintain limit yet the scale moved again. I'm my own metabolic ward study, hahah

11 hours is very nice. It seems to help with weightloss. I may try to run today but I am guessing that no one would suspect me being chased since it is more like shuffle, shuffle. Hope you have a great day!

Thank you Liv. Yeah, not only was it 11 hours of not eating (which, thanks to my Mojo returning a couple of weeks ago I've not struggled with that as much) but I do believe I've read there's some hormonal link. That's my problem with weight, isn't it? It's not that I eat/ate too much.. it's the insomnia! Mystery solved! Shuffle on, my friend, shuffle on.

Rosio and Keyten would agree: this is the healthy way, the sustainable way and the best way to do it. You are your own experiment. Even though you know your body best, a friend/s who has/have been through this successfully can pinpoint somethings that you cannot see. You have an open mind Bella. You question, experiment and research. This is why I 💕💕💕 you❣️

Aww, I heart you too. Thank you. Yes, I was thinking about something Rosio said the other day .. about recording thoughts that are repeats because it help put it firm in her head too. I never know when someone new may come across my journal and at first think 'so the f what.. that cow is fat, why would I listen to her?' And that's okay.

BUT - while I definitely don't put myself in the celebrity category .. I do feel like I am in the 'pay attention' group because I've done the fad diets, the starvation, the low fat, the .. you name it.. I've done it.

And yeah, I get a 'suggestion' of what my RDI should be based on my weight & activity and I posted it as a suggestion but that is a suggestion only. I'm still paying attention to how MY body reacts. And I'm glad.

Lol well you’re talking to a former obese cow. I believe most members have helpful hearts, but some may not have the facts straight. Remember when I was talking about 3 camps of members here. On a forum like this where everyone is talking all at once and contradicting each other, which camp would you take fat loss advice from? I would rank the advice in this order 1. those who are at goal and maintained 2. those who are finding success 3. those whose weight trend looks like mountains and valleys. Your advice would help those who rank below you or struggling with something you found success in. I stay quiet when members have closed ears 🙉 or on topics I’m not knowledgeable in. This took too long to write

I find I nod a lot when I'm reading today. So in person, you'd be able to see my agreeing. I have to refrain when I scroll past a post about a person dropping their daily intake or when it seems low. I remind myself they 1) didn't ask me and 2) they are their own person.

AND I also know, when people DO ask.. are they ready for the truth? Or just the magic bullet?

In the past, I'd share more. I'd explain. I'd try to encourage and enlighten. After a while of seeing the disappointment on their face that it wasn't an overnight magic loss... I just started saying, "kale". That was a lie but at least I wasn't wasting my breath.
