Twiga88's Journal, 18 Nov 19

After one month in Tanzania, and one week back home, my weight and I seem to be at a stalemate. I seem to have plateaued with less than half a pound to reach the 25 pound midpoint in my journey to a better (and 50 pound lighter) me. I'm sure it's a combination of jet lag/exhaustion, currently irregular sleep patterns, weather/temperature, stress being back into my regular life/work, change in activity patterns, and the change in daily meals/food that I was used to eating there versus food I eat here.  No excuses, just need to get re-acclimated to everything here, and I am sure things will fall into place. Patience, right?

A week plateau is nothing. Happens to me often with absolutely no changes. Quite normal imo.

They say patience is a virtue. I’m so not patient lol. A week isn’t bad. I’ve had 3-4 week plateaus before. If you don’t lose in a couple weeks then I’d suggest dropping down another 100 kcal per day. If you are very low now you could try a reset ;).
