davidsprincess's Journal, 01 Nov 19

Back to remeasuring on the 1st. I don't want to do it on the 15th. I won't re-record since there are not significant changes since 10/15 measurements but I did take them. In October- I went to the gym 26/31 days and 4 of those days I went twice so essentially as if I didn't miss at all. I am trying to lift in the early morning before the sun and do a quick 30-45 min of cardio after work a few days a week. No set schedule with the cardio- just when I can. When I am on the elliptical- seeing the people I normally lift with- I want to tell them "I'm still lifting- I'm here in the morning. This is just extra"- so no one thinks I quit lifting. :) But we do not speak. That gets me home at a reasonable hour and I love the feel of sweat. Whether I'm doing yard work or cardio- to me- sweat makes me feel SO accomplished. November 1st goal was supposed to be 185 but I don't think I even got to October's goal. Looking forward to many changes in November. December 1 progress report will be amazing. (That's what I'm gonna tell myself) No idea on numbers anymore but if I could just get under my lowest ever weight (I keep forgetting what I said it was- 183?) I would be thrilled (for a very short time). So goal for 12/1- eh- let's say 183 and see what happens.

October was my best month workout wise all year. But I only lost ONE POUND according to the scale, but my clothes are getting too big and I cannot buy new!! 🙁 So I’ve lost more inches and can lift heavier than ever. Don’t know what I’m doing but I’m doing this. 🤷🏻‍♀️💪🏻😉

LOL- Chestnut- what happened was that I weigh and measure on the 1st every month- but "girl stuff" interrupted my 10/1 recordings and made me fat and bloated so I redid it on the 15th and was going to continue the 15th of every month but that's stupid because I prefer the 1st. I like fresh starts and new days. My food journal is completely accurate- my exercise/activity I only fill in the bigger things and leave the rest to say "rest or sleeping". Aren't you glad you asked? ;)

Same, wifey- My October workouts have been fantastic! There was only one day that I recall not really being motivated to be there and I still did 40 minutes. LOL. On that note- I gotta head out. 💗💪🏻🤸🏻‍♂️

Man! Wish we could workout together! You could be my trainer? Yeah? 😉

Based on your posts, wifey- I'm thinking YOU could train ME. ;)

You're doing awesome, princesa! Looking consistently smaller and more toned every time I look! All of the hard work is paying off! <3

It’s good to have a goal but more importantly, just keep the momentum moving in a forward (or downward) direction. With the Holliday’s coming, a great plan is to maintain, and just not gain and to continue a rational workout program. You can do this. It’s not a race, just a series of steps in the right direction.

You’re doing great! That’s a lot of working out. Sometimes it’s hard to see what goals should be until you’ve done the work. I’m sure you’ve hit many of your targets 🎯

If you aren’t there by December I’d bet you are 183 by Christmas for sure. When I see lifters doing cardio I always assume they already lifted, plan to do so later, have an injury or just aren’t feeling it that day/week. A few will nod at the hubby, even speak to him, but I’ve yet to have someone speak to me other than to ask if I’m done with something 🤷‍♀️. I’ve said hi a couple times but don’t feel comfortable enough to, or know how to, start a conversation with anyone there.

Thanks friends- for the encouragement. I guess that because I am honest- it really, really matters to me (probably too much) that people believe what I am saying. I don't want to be questioned or even have people thinking I am eating more or exercising less than I say- so I figure I must be looking better- though I no longer see it, myself. Thanks, Kenna- I am definitely not losing steam which is surprising being 8 months or so in. Peeper- I have zero interest in speaking to anyone there- ever... :)

Oh? I’m the type that wants to speak to every single person I can. You’d hate me after a couple hours haha. Hubby often reminds me that silence is sometimes good lol. So I practice silence from 8:30-10 pm mostly and completely from 11pm to 6:30am. 🤣

Why would the high 180's be my comfort range? It's definitely broken and I'm fixing it. It doesn't make me happy. I'm going to be at a normal weight... 160 maybe? In the meantime, I'm looking way better and trucking along.

Wow! What a schedule for the gym! Amazing. I really don't like gyms, whenever I join, I'm one of those people who show up for a month or two and then disappear. Now I have a good excuse - the closest gym is about 20 miles away. But you're right about yard work - it's a good workout. I didn't do good in October - was fine until the last week and that ruined the whole month. Hope you meet your December 1 goal!
