A friend of ours gave us a bagful of walnuts in the shells. Difficult to open even with a nut cracker but great! I had one last night (took me time and muscles to crack that puppy open).

Can hardly wait to have another one today. HAHAHAHA yes. It really is that difficult (FOR OLD PPL OKAY?)

Thanks! Love the walnuts too. I put the bag outside since I ran out of shelf room and not far enough away from the door and did a 'Home Alone' bad guy marbles on the floor roll. I managed to not fall down but.. whoa.

We used to use an actual hammer when I was a kid and picking them as they fell off the walnut tree in our yard. Mowing the grass was a dangerous thing for passing cars when I'd plow thru those lying on the ground.
