And so it ends. Ended up eating about 2600 calories on avg instead of 2300. Thankful I tracked the food. Up 3.8# Back to 2000 calories starting today because I can't go as low as I was before which was averaging about 1700 a day. Made it to the gym every day as planned. Super excited to see what happens now. Really shows that my life is not very thrilling. 😂

I eat 2000 cals a day and I’m 5 feet and weigh nearly 50 pounds less than you. How on earth could you do 1700??? Make no wonder, your body was holding on for dear life imo. 2000 might not be enough either the way you lift. Believe me! I was starving all the time and very active. I kept gaining for months until I increased my food intake. I had to eat more to weigh less. It still boggles my mind. Bet it will do wonders for you too! I wish you well!! Enjoy the gym, you’re probably there now, done or on your way!! 💪🏻💪🏻

I know wifey- I am wondering myself. I think I could tell in a way that it wasn't enough. On the other hand- My October gym sessions have been AMAZING- just really killing it and highly motivated so it took me a little time to notice. I had kept my RDI at sedentary thinking I'd lose more if I tried to stick to those calories- but it was dumb. May need to just keep increasing- way more fun than decreasing! How have you been otherwise? I assume your cousin finally left. Did you say you are out of work right now? I suppose I could send you a private message. LOL

Yes. Keep the cals up, when the cals are up, the weights are up, and I don’t mean scale, I mean what we lift!!! Love it!!!! Can’t be starving or stuffin ourselves. Balance equals best!! And yes. Cousin left and the time was awesome!!!!! She loved me haha! I’ll actually be going to visit her in England in the Spring if all goes as planned. And yes, and no. Not out of work, just my biggest contract I had cleaning two condo buildings, board went another ‘cheaper’ route for cleaning. Oh well! I’ve picked up another private home but it’s peanuts compared to what I had. I have other smaller contracts but the one I lost took more than 1/2 my income. Boo! It’s been tuff and stressful but I put all that frustration into lifting. Ever lift when you’re mad? It puts me in beast mode!! Lol

Yes- Love to lift when I'm angry. LOL. Lifting away work stress is so fun. Used to eat my stress.

I think 2000 is perfect 😊 you work out so you need that fuel. Even doing the 2300 for leeway. You are not sedentary friend 😊😊

I hope the reset makes a difference for you. Good luck! 💚💛💜

I think you're doing great figuring it all out. I do tend to agree the more active you are the more energy you need. Yeah, I leave my RDI at sedentary too and then have a mental math session because I certainly don't sleep 24/7 but that's how I record my activity. I think I just figured out why comments get long - at least for me. I want to discuss what you discussed and there you go. Making this a topic in my own journal seems I'm copying. You know what... Coffee. Going for coffee. Have a wonderful day.

It'll be interesting how the break and reset work for you, I'll be following to see, hope it works!

Bella- the only thing that limits my comments is typing on my phone because it starts to get cut off. LOL. The activity thing is so inaccurate for me but at least I can see a pattern. I don't track showering and sex and all the stuff you can track- only the weight lifting or stuff that's a bigger deal like if I am doing 3 hours of yard work. And God knows I haven't slept 8 hours a night in years- but I leave it to stay ahead of the game. Just something I do. OK- I better get back to work. Thanks, JMB- I know it will work. By 11/1 I'll be at a new low. Chris- it wasn't really a tight limitation. I guess in hindsight it seems like it. I mean I didn't feel like I was hungry and my lifting was good so I am a bit confused. Oh well. Anyhow- TTYL peeps.
