Debbie Cousins's Journal, 17 Oct 19

Was able to keep it down to "just" two tapioca puddings yesterday. Put the rest in the freezer and took out ONE last night to thaw for today. Only having one available will make me be more selective about when I MOST want it. Last night, in the absence of tapioca, I DID indulge in nachos made from one serving of Tostito Scoops with an ounce of shredded cheddar, 3 Tbsp of sliced olives and two pieces of bacon. "Normally," I would have had all the tapioca PLUS twice that amount of the nachos. So, I guess it is still slight progress. Blessed with another 1-pound loss this morning. So happy that I'm being blessed with results for TRYING to get back on track, even though I'm not perfect yet. Small steps toward progress are paying off, and I'm thankful to be headed in the right direction again.

Yours is tapioca and mine is bread. Can you feel a difference in your body on tapioca vs non-tapioca days? I cut out my daily "bread dessert" for 2 days and felt it all over my body. Does that help with cutting it out of your diet? Feeling the change sometimes inspires me to make diet adjustments. Just throwing it out there! :)
