how can you eat donuts like you do and lose weight? if I ate the donuts I would be 200 pounds more than I am right now. they're delicious in a very big temptation, however I just can't do it

You can but you would have to eat only enough to still be in a deficit. It's physics.

Deficit is the most important aspect of dieting (well protein is up there too). When having donuts I have to cut something somewhere. The ones I like range from 200 to 800 calories! That cold be more than half my daily calorie intake if I’m not careful. The more muscle you have like D here, the more calories you burn. Lift weights and gain muscle if you can and in a year or so you’ll be able to enjoy donuts in moderation too! (If you can stop at one or two. If not avoid them!) 😉

Lost another pound today and had another 6 pack of doneys. Of course I am still holding water. Will most likely lose some more tomorrow. Thanks!

Wish I had some donuts right about now. Down 800 kcal and only 90g protein after I have my shake.

Diablo, I'm happy for you that you can eat donuts and lose weight. For one thing you're young, you workout everyday, you have a lot of muscle, and it doesn't appear you have any health issues. I for one I am very highly allergic to sugar and grain. If I eat sugar I get very sick if I eat grain I have a lot of inflammation all over my body and it causes my rheumatoid arthritis to flare. Then I'm in a lot of pain. I also have 2 torn rotator cuffs from falling and I cannot raise my arms above my waist and chest. I'm very limited on my movements. I don't do anything anymore around the house. My husband has to do everything. He does all the cooking shopping and cleaning etc etc. As I post you will get to know me and my lifestyle better. I am very shaky so I only walk using a walker Thank you

Most the people on here are younger and not have health issues. There are a few of us that have challenges who are trying to find a remedy so that we can get our bodies stronger and healthier. Because of my weakness I fell backwards a couple of months ago and fractured my back causing me to need surgery. It also laid me up for another month just as I was getting strong enough to start moving around a little more. During the time I was confined to my chair I had all kinds of hoses coming out of my legs near my ankles and I was not able to walk when I was attached to all that mess. I know most people on here that are young cannot relate. And I hope you never do relate when you get older.
