Thank you, safa and keyten! I want that blue line! 😁

Just change your weight goal to 148 and it will turn blue! Just playing! As soon as mine goes blue, I'm upgrading my weight loss down to 170lbs. That was my high school weight after some weight lifting. So I will be back in the red shorlty.

Me too, Jaime. Its set at an easy goal and then I have to change it and watch it turn red again. 😥

jaimejay, you clever lad you! Princess, I don't know if I will change my goal. I will have to really see how I feel and what I think is sustainable for the long haul and what increasing the weight lifting might do... I know it will be up and down a bit. 145 was my wedding weight, and the lowest of my adult life... is 20 adult? somehow it doesn't seem like that now. :)

My first goal is my wedding weight (which was still overweight) LOL. I can't imagine weighing less than 183 because I never have. Crazy to think I will one day. I agree about 20 not being an adult. :)

Actually you don’t have a fully developed adult brain till about age 25

I didn't know my head from my butt until I was 28ish so that may explain it. Ha. Thank you, Melissa. 🥰

You are doing great! My current goal weight is 140 only because that's the weight I was the first time I noticed I had gained weight. 140 is proving a challenge, but I am not giving up. 👊

Thank you, Carolyn! Kenna, having five children between 16 and 23, I am totally in agreement with the whole adult brain kicking in at 25!!! Princess,so glad you figured out those significant distinctions in your anatomy! Thanks, Becc! Yeah, we can not give up... not forever no matter how close to goal or at goal or a way off. The alternative is misery on every level. We've gotta fight on. I need to remember that today and tomorrow and ten years from now...

I don’t know your WOE but this weight control thing does not have to be a battle. It does not require deprivation. It just requires common sense, moderation and portion control and physical activity. Many here feel they are unable to ever master that and ride the diet roller coaster over and over again, but for those who can it becomes a way of life and you truly don’t have to really think about it.

Big congrats! Whatever you're doing is definitely working for you.

Kenna, I want to be like you say so much! I know myself and the struggles I've had with mindless gaining when stressed and that feeling of being totally out of control. I'm sure I will need to be cautious my whole life and always fight what comes "naturally" to me. I am the only one of my siblings not either obese or morbidly obese. My parents were vastly overweight at least much of the time. I don't want to be them!! My WOE is pretty simple and so I think sustainable, which was my plan from the start. My only real guidelines is trying to reach 25 grams of fiber, somewhere close to 80 grams of protein, carbs that are healthy and whole, and lots of fruit and veggies. I eat special treats. If I am feeling out of control (like at some times of the month) I back away from sugar for a while or I start to crave it too much. My only really fanatical rule has been to log everything as best I can and keep to my calorie limit. I work out a lot. I don't know when or if this will all become a totally natural way of life. I sure want that victory! That would be... true victory for me!
