Kids bought tri-tip for dinner. I didn't eat a lot, but sure to see it in my weight in the next couple of days.

I mean, turn down tri-tip for a 2-day old burrito mix without the tortilla or cheese? Ya, like... no. Now, me... I could peddle an icebox of prime rib as a vegan meal but I'd never fall for mistaking that for the burrito mix, not again.

And it didn't take me twice to ask me if I wanted the BB!-outside-the-store-grilled fantasticness to up and ditch my healthy but left-left-over mix.

My kids are my total downfall. They eat healthy foods but they make such incredible bad-for-you food, too. They also know where to buy the best bad-for-you foods. And I live next door so, it's not suffering the TSA after paying 10,000 for a flight, flying like to New Mexico.

They originally invited us to have rotisseried chicken. Totally on my ok list, in fact, one of my high protein favorite lists. Then the text... 'we're getting food instead, 'k?'

Ok I figured, I'd deal with the burrito-less burrito with extra salsa, please and hope for chicken either our BBQ or their rotisserie.

BUT NO! I had to ask... where'ya goin?

So there you have it. We now have enough tri-tip for 4 meals for 2 people, including pseudo salads and veggies ie BBQ beans and heaven-in-a-macaroni salad. Apparently, people around here will eat in one meal that which would feed a village of 10 for a day.
