First weigh in on my new scale; same weight as my old analog scale so no big ‘my previous equipment was wrong’ loss as hoped but it's still a loss from last week so I'll take it.

This is the FITINDEX Smart Wireless Digital Bathroom Weight Scale From Amazon (but I weighed in the kitchen - haha)

It offers 13 BODY COMPOSITION MEASURING FUNCTIONS - Use Bio-electrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) technology, Wireless digital scale not only shows body weight, but also syncs data to your APP including Body Fat, Water, Muscle Mass, BMI, BMR, Bone Mass, Protein, Skeletal Muscle and other data. It makes you know more data clearly about your body in time and track progress easily on your phone.

Which basically means I have 12 new ways to feel bad about myself, LOL. Or, at least, I'm sure I will if I ever figure out what all of it means. Ah well, technology. Bring it on.

102.9 kg Lost so far: 16.9 kg.    Still to go: 21.2 kg.    Diet followed: Poorly.

Keyten thank you. I'm still going to pack this away for another month. By then I'll figure out more but I don't want to be a slave to the scale.

Look like a great choice. Congrats. Nice drop too. I don't have a wireless one. If I did, I would step on it every morning with my eyes closed, and let the mobile phone deal with numbers. A month later I could look at the last months graph if the right mood was there. Naa... probably wouldn't work in reality. Right now I navigate without scales too, to see if I can stand by myself, or if I have to go back to tech.

I don't care much for the other numbers either on my scale. Just the weight. But, hey, awesome loss! 😃

😂😂😂😘😘😘 Bella mine is supposed to report body fat, water weight the list goes on. I’m just happy to be heading down the right path again. Shit I would be sad what my scale said about me if I knew how to work it🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️😩😩🤗😂😂 I’m not digging out that manual until I’m cleared from surgery. That thing would be like” eeeew get off me it hurts😩😩😩😂😂😂” however it would have been screaming 7 months ago and 😂😂

How correct the muscle mass numbers on these scales can be? I don't trust them even with hydration numbers... That being said, this scale has pretty good feedback. But is it just because the app is cool? Keep us updated Bella. 🙂

It doesn't tell your horoscope?

@Diddlee I know I'd peek. Sometimes I think I 'should' weigh daily as so many people here do but at the pace I'm going I think it would be discouraging.

@Hangry - I'm not really sure what they all mean either... just 12 different ways of reminding me I'm fat for now, LOL

@JC - I'm so glad this doesn't talk. Believe me, there's enough of that going on in my head, I don't need machines chiming in vocally.

@Chris - I'm thinking mine would call me a schmuck for buying a scale I’ll only use once a month
04 Jul 19 by member: FullaBella
@Yoho - I’m as skeptical as you. I mean, just how much can really be determined from a five second reading of the soles of my feet or expected from a $25 scale? The only rationalization I have is that it may be a little more accurate than my 15 year old analog.

I don't think the numbers would be accurate but would still show a trend. You're so funny, Bella. 12 new ways to feel bad about yourself. JC- We had a digital scale in the one of the homes that I was working in and when you turn it on it says- "Are you ready?" I was like- No- Are YOU ready? LMAO. Chris- Scary that it can see.

I was going to say— TMI of questionable day to day value for most of us. How is any of that going to change what you might or might not have eaten at a BBQ tonight.

@DPrincess: I agree. If so, those pricey scans would be out of business.
04 Jul 19 by member: FullaBella
@Kenna - I'm sure it won't or wouldn't; after all, it's the main number (or rather - concern of it) that keeps most people in check. I'm just wondering as I've never done the LCHF if any of my body composition will change - again, if it's even detectable from this inexpensive machine. I just saw it referenced on someone else's journal and it sounded affordable enough to get a new tech toy. After all, the excitement from my batter powered salt and pepper grinders is starting to fade. PS - I will admit I've had to eat my words several times. I DO like the fact that they have lights!

Chris - can you imagine .. the scale 'what an a$$' and it would all be in the inflection.
