I haven't analyzed what I did different but I think it's just an overall reduction of food. 3k instead of 4.

@ Chrisw77 - unfortunate that really doesn't work for me - cico can work but eating whatever I want would be a disaster. But, I am old with thyroid metabolism

HCB, I am wondering that too, I often hear here about thyroid and insulin resistance as a bad thing, when the doctor told me of the possibility of suffering one of those things, I was so scared.

The thyroid gland is essential to the endocrine system. It is located in front of the neck and is responsible for the production of thyroid hormones. The thyroid gland releases triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4). These hormones play an important role in regulation of your weight, energy levels, internal temperature, skin, hair, nail growth, and more.

I take medication daily with synthetic thyroid hormones to try to even me out. I am fairly normalized - so if I eat fewer calories than I burn, I can lose.
