Yea ~ 2lbs ... hope it holds for 3 days in a row - kind of my benchmark for being true weight loss (well, that and NOT gaining any)
Still haven't managed to incorporate 'exercise' regime yet but am proud to report I bowled last night. Not real bowling - my ability to leave and go elsewhere for recreation is limited because I'm a caretaker but I did bowl with my PS3. Two games. So while the heaviest thing I had to hold was a 'wand' I do feel a little 'soreness' in my left leg (the one I lean on as I simulate tossing the bowling ball) :::: can you tell I know nothing about the sport other than I suck at it as I only bowled an 85 ::: but nonetheless it was 20 minutes NOT sitting in the chair so yea for now.

I have arranged for someone to stay here so I can go out tonight; am going to a fund raiser for Children's Advocacy so I'm looking forward to the event. I hope it's successful.

I am pleased to have found that the Dannon Light Greek yogurt with the fruit on the bottom tastes so close to the Chobani that in a blind taste test I couldn't tell the difference. I know I do not have the most discerning palate all the time but mores the better for me as the Dannon is 60cals less per serving. Yes, I realize that reads as obsessive but that's almost an extra apple a day I can have ~ have my yogurt and eat my apple too, hahah.

And I am proud that I had a couple of emotional triggers set me off yesterday afternoon and was on the verge of a major binge & purge episode. I am trying SO very hard this journey to not fall into that trap - emotional eating, damaging my health, etc. But ironically as I reached the grocery store with the agenda of purchasing a binge worthy assortment of junk food, my habit of checking the label FIRST before eating kicked in. And by accident I'd picked up something HEALTHY or maybe not so healthy as just not so not-healthy: stacey's baked bagel chips. 12 chips only 120 cals so that with some jalepeno mustard and I had a great brand new snack and my urge to binge & purge was abated.

The reason I was checking the label was I knew I'd be logging it into my diet calendar. I WILL do that whether I purge or NOT ~~ I'm not hiding in the dark on this bad habit anymore. But I didn't so yea for me. I've managed to stay above board on this over 60 days now ~~~ only one episode 5 days in.

And with that I shall go take care of a few other things today. Happy Saturday all!
