I was thinking yesterday that I was wondering if you had heard about Jason Fung theory that an extended fast can help dieters with unwanted skin folds. I do not know if that is proven in any way. I have seen some people say they think it helped. Extended fasts are not for everyone. I have not done one but I think I will try one at some point.

are you doing heavy (for you) weight training? if you're new to weight training, it's DOMS, and you'll only get it in the first few weeks of a new program. if you've been training a while, the caloric restriction might be impeding your recovery i.e. "overtraining". if that's the case, try a deload week: all the same training, but half or less the weight/intensity. hope this helps
