We trust the numbers for the most part. We know what is going on. We know you cannot create matter with a lack of energy. Time moves at a normal pace instead of at a crawl. We have other things on our mind rather than just scale weight. Muscle gains, strength gains, mirror gains etc. I see 2-3 pound fluctuations and they matter not. I just saw someone say they were surprised that they gained .4 pounds in a day...I gained 11 pounds last weekend. I know exactly why and am now down 12 since then lol. Also, lifting gives your body a more pleasing shape. The excess weight can go to places that make you look better. Lifting is life lol
