Hi Blueyes! I had two cups of black coffee, too, and then water and sparkling water. I also had supplements I take twice a day including bitter apricot seeds. (You can see all in my food log). I lost just less than 10 pounds from Thursday to Sunday night.

Does the weight stay off? I would think once you filled your system with food again that some would come back. I can make it until about mid afternoon and then Iā€™m eating something lol. Of course with my health issues the drs advised no fasting but skipping a meal here and there while taking vitamins and having a balanced diet would be okay. I had to tell her that I rarely ate breakfast until recently so most of my life I skipped a meal a day lol.

Hi do n ok and peeper! Yes, I expect some weight to return but i always gain some back during the week. The longer fast is a great reset for my body and is supposed to generate some cell renewal when I begin to eat again.

Just curious. I think you're out of the diabetic thing. Are you monitoring your blood sugar, and is so, what's it looking like.
