Does the weight stay off? I would think once you filled your system with food again that some would come back. I can make it until about mid afternoon and then I’m eating something lol. Of course with my health issues the drs advised no fasting but skipping a meal here and there while taking vitamins and having a balanced diet would be okay. I had to tell her that I rarely ate breakfast until recently so most of my life I skipped a meal a day lol.

Just curious. I think you're out of the diabetic thing. Are you monitoring your blood sugar, and is so, what's it looking like.

Awesome Bill! That is a huge accomplishment! I'm fixing to move up to a 36 hr fast. 5:2 36:4.... I have done the 16:8 for a couple years but now I have been doing the 24 hr 5:2 for a few months... so I am going to do the 36 hr according to how I feel here next week. I just got the flu shot yesterday and not feeling the best today. Will finish out the week with the 24 hr. I admit that I run into batch of something sinfully sweet and delicious mostly late at night or early morning that interferes with my progress now and then. But thank you for sharing. :) Good night all 😴😴😴

Fasting has health benefits, but is not for everyone. However, there are several ways to fast. I do an intermittent fast. I only have coffee in the morning and it is spiked with coconut oil for energy. At 2pm I have my first meal and the last time I eat has to be before 8pm. This schedule works well for me and I can do it for days. But I can't do 3-day fast. Congrats on your successful 3-day fast, quite an accomplishment!
