No breakfast or lunch this morning as the “ankle” surgery is in a couple hours. Recovery is stated as 3 months, but let’s say.....8 weeks. That sounds better!!

Hopefully will only gain a few lbs, but plan to stay active.
78.7 kg Lost so far: 8.9 kg.    Still to go: 2.4 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

remember rehab when you are able to do it. Picking up a kleenex with the toes is very important.

hope you have a speedy recovery... I keep putting my foot surgery off because the recovery time is 6+ months

Good luck with that, I went through similar with knee, keep doing the upper body and especially your back exercises as sitting so much strains it, you may develop uneven due to injury.

Glad it’s over with for you. Yes unfortunately operations on joints aren’t nice are they? Hope that you recover well.

I just wasn’t expecting 6 weeks with no weight on the ankle. They said I will most likely have to give up the intense exercise programs, i.e. jumping rope, running, even Box Jumps!!
