Hi, SMP! Yes, I am doing those five days a month. This month, I did it on the second weekend. I will do it again near the beginning of May. It takes me way low in calories and then I need to spend the rest of the month catching up!

I was curious as I am reading the Valter Longo, ‘Longevity Diet’ book now. He makes some interesting points about the affects of proteins in the diet of animals, have you changed your diet significantly to address that? 🤷🏻‍♀️

To some degree. I am back and forth on it. I am currently targeting 120 grams per day, but only achieving 92 grams per day including the FMD portion of the month. It is way lower than I used to eat.

Thanks, Glen! I happen to be watching Peter Attia on YouTube right now. He said the goal is to raise protein only as high as needed to maintain muscle mass and to reduce carbs to the lowest tolerable point. The fat fills in the rest. And the numbers change slightly for each person.
