Woke at 217.4, down .6 from yesterday. Slept in a bit and will be a slow day. UPDATE: Ate a huge omelet at the diner after a doctor's appointment and that was good enough for the entire day. Lasix helped me drop a bunch of water weight today.

Haven't been able to completely break the bread habit. I "toast" one of Trader Joes low Carb Tortilla ( 3-4 net carbs) and that seems to satisfy me enough.

I'm choosing not to eat bread right now doing Phase 2 because my carb intake is so low. One piece of bread would take most of my daily carbs allotment and most likely take me out of ketosis making me hungrier later and maybe for a few days. I don't want to go there. I'll be able to have bread again someday. I am thinking of trying one of the low carb breads but haven't chosen a recipe yet.

You have tour own Tanita machine!!! I'm jealous. Does yours also do the metabolic panel? Where did you get it?

Are you using a special scale? I tried a Taylor scale but it wouldn't read. Looking to purchase something that gives me more than lbs.

I'm going to start looking for the Tanita. I was seeing a doctor last year that used it. I've told friends about it and they don't believe that a scale can provide this much data. I should charge them to use mine!
