Draglist's Journal, 20 Aug 17

Woke at 215.4, back up the same 2.4 I dropped yesterday! Had a huge day of eating; while the calories topped out at 2130, there was a lot of bulk. I was actually not really hungry at dinner, but I ate a burger on a low carb wrap anyway. Not worried about it. Clearly water and remaining bulk. In fact, my weight goes up and down on a daily basis largely depending on what I guess I'll call the 'deep hydration' level of glycogen in my cells (as opposed to what is in my belly and intestines). Back on the meds as of yesterday, so that will contribute but I'm not letting myself off the hook for that. Otherwise, no eating until I'm hungry, regardless of whether I hit the calorie target for the day. But that's an instructive statement in itself. Without the simple carbs, I have no cravings or ravenous hunger. For those who haven't tried it yet, imagine freedom from constant hunger. It is a blessing. Have a great Sunday, everyone! UPDATE: Ate a good lunch, took a nice nap, and had a good dinner. Happy with macros. Weighed 212.6 before dinner.

It is nice when I am not hungry. Still working on that not eating anyway though.

Great advice - "no eating until I'm hungry" - don't take long for most folks to "discover" where their stomach is located.

I have no scale. No one seems to know if it made the move. Not easy for a daily weigher. I finally gave up and ordered one last night.

TY draglist. I took hubby to Dr today and hopped on their scale. It, of course weighs in pounds but if I converted it correctly, I have lost three pounds. I put this figure in the non-used portion of the brain as to not use them until verified. It works for me. Taking hubby to his kidney doc tomorrow and they have the scale we use so I will probably put more faith in that one. At home I weigh naked, but I think I will leave that part of the perfectionist alone .

Got my new scale last night. I'm still trying to convince myself that the math is right. Last weigh in on 23 July was 121.5. This morning it was 116.8. This is 4.7 if my elementary math doesn't fail me. If my converting is correct and 1 kg = 2.205, then 4.7 kg = 10.36 pounds. Check this for me. I keep thinking I must have screwed it up somewhere . TEN POUNDS! Is that even possible ?
