Woke at 202.0, down .6 from yesterday despite a 2361 calorie intake. Starting to think that my hospital visit has fixed my metabolism to some extent. Eating light today and will attempt to alternate full and light calorie days throughout the week. UPDATE: Got 673 calories in me as of 6:30 and got my five miles in. But Denise is on the way home with some chicken so will eat a bit more protein today. I ate dinner so early that I know I would be screaming by 9 pm anyway! UPDATE: Denise brought home a prepared chicken and I had a nice breast. Then I did my radio show at 8 and was famished by 9! Gabbing must take a lot of energy. I ate some celery with a little peanut butter and Greek yogurt. Still finished just over 1000 calories for the day. Doable. Hoping for a good weight number in the morning. Been flushing max fluids through me. I am not without a glass by my side at any time of day. Doctor's orders.

I turned your almond bread into a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting for breakfast. It was quite good. Think my recipe needs tweaking a bit but it satisfied the urge for something sweet 🙂

Hey Draglist! Your body must think its throat was cut. You ate 2361 calories one day and 1022 the next. LOL! Glad the water is flushing out. @Doobrie - recipe time!!! Sounded really good!

I was thinking the same thing. If your metabolism is fixed (saying it is), why mess it? Stay off the grains and keep eating clean but don't worry about calories so much?

Interesting. I tell you, it's hard to figure out what to do at the best of times. I feel better eating lower carb and no grains. That is all I know about myself. We all have to do our own "thang". :)
