It is always good to see the scale go down rather than jump back up. Staying the same isn't bad either. LOL!

Funny you should say that about the set point being higher ... I feel like this has happened to me. That is why I am trying everything in the blue moon to confuse my body. I have high calorie days and low calorie days, but try to keep my carbs under 100. The carbs are high and low, too. Now I am eating avocados .... Ha Ha! It's a fun thing to worry about ... how to eat an avocado everyday.

He is such a convincing fellow. When I start to get fed up with what I am doing, I am going to finally read his new book. LOL! I have watched some of those, too. Smart and funny guy.

@Draglist Doesn't your weight delta v. intake over time tell you what your actual (v. calculated) deficit/surplus is?

Very Nice Bill...well done steady Eddy!! With the numbers you post it has to sort the scale out over time. Bill, I've also experienced the calculated calorie delta needing to increase over time to continue to get weight loss results. When I started losing weight I was eating about 2400 cal/day (I'm fairly active), then to continue losing I had to drop to +/- 2100 cal/day (now that is my maintenance intake)...to lose now I'm in the 1500 - 1800 intake range with activity the same or slightly higher. No surprise...although it sure would be fun to eat at 2800 cal/day and not have to worry about gaining weight. :-)
