Draglist's Journal, 06 Mar 16

I had a ton of work to catch up on to start the workweek. So… Denise pulled one of her music stands up to the treadmill and I found I could read and mark up reports easily and safely if I limited the speed to 3 mph. But I also got in a serviceable workout! I walked for 2 hours and 8 minutes and got through a report. This will now become part of my standard deal on weekdays when I work from home. No more late night workouts to try to get my steps in!

What a great idea - I bet you're kicking yourself for not thinking of it sooner (and so am I, as well as pinching it!)

Six miles and a bit while getting caught up on paperwork, now that is multitasking!! I kinda do the same thing, catching up on my emails (and...blush) Fat Secret with an iPad on the elliptical...I've not yet figured out how to draft emails without slowing down though. Take care!!

Great idea Bill. I too found that 3 mph is a sweet spot for multitasking on the treadmill. I'ts been over 45 days since I did a long walk like that. I think I need to get back to at least one of those on the weekends again.

That's a great way to multi-task. I'll bet you're happy to have your Fitbit back. Did they fix it or give you a new one?

Your idea should be an example for a new ergonomic work place initiative. I got fatter when I was working at a desk/computer and that was not good for my work place moral.

How cool is that? I love it!! I like to read when I am on my elliptical and I am sure I am not going as hard as I could be. I think increasing the time on it would help!
