Woke at 214.2, up 2.6 in water retention from yesterday after an indulgent holiday lunch. Was at 211.8 post workout last night, so essentially, most of the water I've taken in since then has been retained. Working from home today so will do a lot of flushing out and low sodium. UPDATE: Stuck behind the computer all day, so not much exercise. Forgot that we have a Christmas party tonight. Just ate an apple and I think I will down two cups of cottage cheese, too, so I'm not ravenous when I get there. May have to do some adjusting tomorrow. So far this month, I've been able to burn every calorie, every day with the desired deficit. Today will be a challenge, but I can make up for it over the weekend. UPDATE: Well, we certainly didn't burn every calorie today as I went way overboard at the Christmas party with tons of carbs and more than a 1000 calorie surplus for the day.

Keep at it, the holidays will be gone soon and maybe you won't have as many off days. Water retention stinks :(
