Woke at 221.2, down 3 pounds from yesterday. Will do another day of LCHF and a workout later. Got busy on calls this morning and forgot my coconut oil in coffee. Since I was working from home, I made a nice omelet at 10:30. A treat to eat a little earlier today!

It's a wonder we both don't drown from the inside out. LMAO! Still... it feels good to get rid of it, doesn't it?

I can remember the day I began retaining fluid in my ankles and legs ... I felt the fluid run down my legs and saturate the tissues. I was like "what the heck?" I was working at the time. I could hardly lift my legs to go up the small stoop of the front door. I went from doctor to doctor and one young female doctor said I had "an old ladies disease" and to wear thick hose and lace up shoes .... I KID YOU NOT! I had just turned 50. If I eat low carb, it pretty much keeps it under control ... and that is using a bit of salt on my food, too. As soon as I go off low carbing ... I retain fluid badly. Moral to this story ... eat low carb and indulge only once in a while. I believe it could be our bodies can't deal with the garbage we throw in any longer and it's telling us to stop.

I have so many thoughts on this running through my head. You relate better to numbers (calories in and calories out) while I relate to what foods seem to bloat me. Eliminating certain foods (such as wheat products) has helped me more than anything else I could have done. After 15 years of looking for answers, this is all I can come up with. The other thing that helps is taking B-Complex vitamins.
