Woke at 216.8 today. Tanita shows what I suspected: huge water gain from my five day adventure in moving my daughter to Chicago. Muscle mass went from 154 to 170 (dehydrated waking state). There are those 16 lbs.! Will do alternating days of 1000/1800 calories LCHF with a ton of tea each day to try to flush it out.

Hi. It is great and the only thing that keeps me from jumping off buildings during temporary weight spikes!

I had a new guy start today so we went out for lunch. Pizza and a beer has me up a bit. Not a nightmare scenario yet.

Came home at 218.8. I Googled extreme water retention and may have found my likely issue at LeanGains.com. For a good read, go there and search for 'How to Deal with Water Retention, Parts 1 and 2."

Very interesting discussion at LeanGains. My problem may be excessive Cortisol. Drank some white whine and will do some non-HIIT workout (to reduce my stress). I know I don't get enough sleep. Let's see if we can force a whoosh.
