Draglist's Journal, 17 Jul 15

Woke at 215.4 as the water weight from the last two days is still with me. Going to be hard to get to 208.2 or less tonight to match my weigh in three days ago. Targeting 1967 calories and will drink a lot of tea to flush out the kidneys. HIIT workout tonight and after IF in the morning. Halfway through the month at the IIFYM 'reckless' recommendation of 1967 calories and not doing what I'd like. May take the daily intake down to BMR plus 100 (1840).

Alot of time the calories reccomendations are two high. Fat Secret reccommends that I stay on 1700 to lose weight- Way too High....That is more of a maintenance calorie range if a female is in good shape with exercise!!

Hang in there Bill, persistence will pay off. The gain is temporary, it'll flush....I know you know all that already...just cheering you on!

Most of the calorie intake levels I've seen recommended have been way too high. It really depends on your height, too. Short men & women need way less calories than the six-foot tall individual. At 5'5", I gain if I go over 1400/day, and that's at about 130 lbs. with 1.5 hours of daily exercise. This whole business about consuming 2000 cals/day is for someone with a jackrabbit metabolism, and probably only 18 years old. If you really want to drop the weight, scoot down to 1500/day + exercise.
