Woke at 214.6. Still need to experience the 'whoosh effect' of water leaving my bod. Ate some breakfast this morning for a change. Last day with our daughter Em this summer, so we are going to relax at a winery this afternoon for a leisurely dinner before she has to drive to Michigan tomorrow.

Update. Didn't do the winery. Em and her friends came downtown and ate sushi with me. Then we came home later and did burgers on the grill and strawberry shortcake. Did not even bother weighing in. Probably will be at 220 or more in the morning. Will eat lightly throughout the day tomorrow but will have dinner at an awards presentation at the Willard Hotel tomorrow night. Then two days of recovery before we attend a wedding on Saturday. That should be the last event of the month.

Congratulations on "completing" parenthood! (No one ever sees it as parents graduating, but the line has to be drawn somewhere, right? Why not call it when they really leave the nest?)
