Draglist's Journal, 16 May 15

Woke at 232.8, which makes it 40 plus pounds of gain since the last week of April. Two weeks of vacation and one week of bereavement leave. Wow. Weighed again at 1:30 pm (fasted until then) and got back to 230.2. Had a bunch of computer work to catch up on and a dentist's appointment, so at 5pm I have not hit the treadmill yet. Not in the mood, but maybe a walk outside later. I AM eating on plan beginning today...

The "climb" my friend Bill - no worries, you will get to the other side of it. A walk is probably exactly what you need right now! Take care!

Sorry for the difficult times and loss of your brother, and praying for healing of hurting hearts. Hang in there my friend. The weight gain is temporary.

Hang with it Bill - you will do well in time - be gentle for a couple days. I have no doubt you will soon be back to where you prefer to be.

Bill, I worry about all these big ups and downs of yours, that cannot be the best for your health. You do so well when you stay on or close to your plan.

Lmao wholefoodnut!!!!! Hehehehe- I tell you a funny story after work Wednesday I was sweating to death doing air check and tires and feeling tires up with air that needed outside 7-11, I actually called 4 detail car companies to get estimates, never got a call back!!! And the car place around the corner from my apt cooked has such a bad reputation I was afraid to take my car there! My 2015 corolla is the brand new car I ever had- I bought with 8 Miles on it!

Tires --air issue, yuck! Sometimes it's hard to check tires especially if your back hurts. One of the many irritating trials of my week. I came out of work on Friday to a low front tire. Grabbed the gauge and it was less than 20#'s!! Scary to drive on that! Stopped at the nearest gas station, cost me $1.oo on my debit card, I only had a quarter cash. drove to the bank, then the tire place near my house and had a screw and a big staple in my tire. Sheesh 2 patches and #20.00 later, they were nice and checked all my tires and evened them out. At least they were open until 6:00 as I arrived a minute before 5:00.

I hope this is 90% water, because most of it will be gone in 2 weeks and you'll feel like a deflated water balloon. You got this.

I hear you wholefoodnut- fortunately tires overall are ok- Florida weather fluctuates so much it's common for air flow to change in tires- I normally check them every month and 1/2 unless one looks low or if I am dealer they do it/ Bill I believe your water will come put of your system quickly- just stay close to bathrooms!!!

Bill, I think your spouse is giving you good advise. YO-yo is NOT healthy. I just see you do these drastic ups ad downs over the past couple years, I'm concerned. From what I've read that is not very good for you, I think you have a good plan but stick to it, don't do these huge gains. I'm not good at that macros thing or the fancy scales, do not have one. I'm just positive from all I've learned over the past years, just be consistent. It's al life style change not a diet that has an end game. It's a forever thing.

pwresttlephoto, I live smack in the middle of the country it fluctuates drastically, daily with everything hitting us from all directions. This time of year it can be 40 degrees overnight and 80+ during the day --plays major havoc on your tires!!!
