Waking weigh in of 206.4 at 8:30 am after eating 338 grams of carbs, 4157 grams of sodium, no workout, and a 218 calorie surplus yesterday. To be expected, of course. Going to check the blood sugar this morning and over the next few days to monitor my body's response. Will do a post 16:8 IF workout today and target 1500 calories (to fit within my 6000 calories every three days plan). UPDATE: Didn't have too much trouble with the 206.4 weigh in at 8:30 am. But after fasting until 5pm, doing a full body dumbbell workout, housework all day, and finally a 1000 calorie HIIT treadmill session, I was disappointed in a 205.0 weigh in at 5:30 pm. Will keep the fluid intake going.

We both know it isn't fat .. it's fluid retention. I have my own trials with fluid retention, so I know what it's like to wake up to a big gain after one day of eating "whatever". I know you will get things back in order again. :)

That gain in one day has to water weight only.your body from your postings seems to retain sodium quick- it will drop again quickly!!

I'm sure that will move off quickly.

I imagine eventually the fluid weight will go down right?

I don't know that blood sugar would be affected by fluid weight gain ... but perhaps the blood pressure might?
