Draglist's Journal, 28 Jun 14

Happy Saturday! It's weigh in day and time for the big plan to pay off. And it did. First of all, I was up every two hours last night, experiencing a major whoosh event. Got up and weighed 200.4 at 8:30, so I had 3.5 more hours of fat burning before my 16:8 fast ended. Got on the treadmill and did 4.5 miles of fast walking/jogging, alternating between 4 and 6.5 mph. Jumped in the pool and then did a little pool maintenance (brushing, etc.) until noon. Got on the scale and was rewarded with my lowest weight since the age of 19: 197.6! In my best George Peppard voice from the A Team: "I love it when a plan comes together!" Have a great weekend, everyone!

Here are the 6/28/14 Tanita Numbers (post-16:8 fast, 4.5 mile treadmill; water/muscle/fat numbers off due to overnight dehydration):

Way to go Mr. D! That's quite the accomplishment. I bet you feel better mentally than even physically at this point know you have the power to change whatever you want in yourself? Bill, what's a 16:8 fast if you don't mind sharing?

Two words: Holy cow! You'll make that 195 easily now. Unless the whoosh event has you completely empty like a newborn, in which case, you may rebound a little, but still. Major congrats are in order. Rock and roll!

Awesome! Happy Dance for You!! Your hard work has paid off Big Time! I do like your 16:8. Might try that tip, or some variable of it.

Wow, great job, Bill!

I like how Bill did some fat burning exercise in the latter part of the 16:8, that's a smart way to do it. It wouldn't work for me during the week but it's something that would be possible on weekends.

I am always trying to force myself to eat every 4 to 5 hours to get my metabolism up and to keep it burning. But if this works for you, I will try it. I keep trying to shake it up a bit every now and then. Beats the boredom of the whole process!
