Trivia post :
10.5” (dinner) plate = 86.59 sq. in.
9” (luncheon) plate = 63.62 sq.in.
Dinner plate is over 33% bigger!
The phenomenon of people tending to “fill up” a plate, regardless of size, is well documented. So is the tendency NOT to go back for more, unless the plate is less than 9”. Food for thought!
