Sort of a fail today on hitting my macros. Ate a lot of protein, but still didn't reach the goal. Cooled it on the fat a bit but went overboard on carbs. Goal was 76g fats, 164g carbs, 224g protein, and 2236 calories. I hit 108g fats, 264g carbs, 198g protein, and 2797 calories. Sending my daughter back to college tomorrow and going back to work. Both events (sad as they are) will help me get back on track! :)

I have a heck of a time getting my protein in. I just took a look at your diet calendar and I think I will up my eggs and yogurt - that should help. Thank goodness I like them both. Too bad about your daughter having to leave for college...

Awwww! Bet it was wonderful having your daughter home. I know it's a bummer getting back to work, too. Your Greek yogurt and protein powder combo sounded good! I will try that! I am going to start trying out protein smoothies with green leafy vegetables in the new year. I don't eat a lot of veggies so this is a way to get them in.

Yes, I wondered about all the carbs. I will try not to use berries at first. I might have to try putting chocolate in with my spinach. Ya think that will lower the carbs any? Hee Hee!

I will get some chocolate protein powder soon. I have vanilla.

I tried the plain Greek yogurt today with the vanilla protein powder. It made it taste better. This is a great idea. Thank you for the idea. :)
