Avocado chocolate ice cream for dinner! A few more calories because of the avocado but I can deal with that!

This came out great. Fewer carbs than strawberries and actually got a deeper chocolate flavor.

I like the avocado chocolate pudding

Cut up an avocado or two and put it in a baggie and then into the freezer. I aim for about 300 grams per bag. Take 16 ounces of liquid (I used hibiscus tea) and put it in a heavy duty blender. Add the avocado. Take a large scoop of protein powder (can't remember the grams). Add a tablespoon of hershey's unsweetened cocoa. Add a squirt of liquid stevia (or any other calorie free sweetener). Blend it up and you're golden!

The avocado has to be pretty frozen. Overnight works great or maybe you can do it after a few hours. I also put in collagen powder, nutritional yeast, and turmeric. You can't taste those.

I have only had all avocado ice cream once. Not enough flavor for me, but that was years ago at an Avocado Festival. Might have to try it as a cream substitute with chocolate. 😊

I have made avocado lime sherbet in a small ice cream maker - honey or agave as sweetener. Avocado is a common ice cream ingredient in the Philippines, apparently.
