Woke at 218.6, up .6 from yesterday. Drank some red wine and then added some pepper jack cheese after midnight as I watched some late TV. Will add that as a snack today. Starting with protein coffee and will then have a protein shake at lunch and then dinner. I think chicken fajitas are on the menu so I might have a low cal wrap with those. UPDATE: Weighed 219.0 at 5 pm. Ate quite a lot of roast beef plus some pepper jack cheese to hit my 160 grams of protein, plus added some red wine. Going to exceed 2000 calories today, so I'll have to adjust on Monday.

I always add late night snacks to the next day's food journal. And I consider anything after 9pm as late night!

Protein coffee? Sounds interesting. I have to learn more of this.

I used to buy diet products online that were high in protein. I bought a couple boxes of hot chocolate that had 10-15 grams of protein in it. But it was horrible hot chocolate! I started putting it in a cup of coffee and it was pretty good and a good way to get some additional protein.

I will try something like this. I've been keeping collagen on my radar. Do you find it helping with your skin? Or other benefit. I want to give my skin all the chance I can do 'snap back' for lack of better word. I got elasticity on the brain. And the protein is one of my current primary targets.
