Draglist's Journal, 07 Jan 19

Woke at 227.4, up .6 from yesterday. Expected lower, but we will get there. I took a couple hours yesterday and read every weigh in from 2012 until today. It was interesting to see my journey all at once. And all the different things I’ve tried. The most obvious thing is I need to get back to exercising. Waking blood glucose was a nice 78. But measured one hour after a high protein breakfast and it was up to 125. Not good, but now I have to research what to do about it. UPDATE: Skipped lunch and weighed in before dinner. Got to 226.2. Blood glucose was 78 again and blood ketones were .5 mm, so barely in ketosis. Ate the other half of the pork roast, some chicken, some summer sausage, and an ounce of cheese. Got close to my new carnivore-like macros of 180 protein (one gram per desired ideal weight), 100 fat, and 40 carbs. In fact, I was in single digits on carbs. Let's see what sort of weigh in the morning brings.

And you don't need to be exercising all day long if you don't want/can, 20-30 minutes 3-5 days a week will do a great difference to your body.

I agree ... I don't like being hungry. LOL! I am starting to read two books by the same author and it made me think of you and that you might like to read them. 😉 "Delay, Don't Deny" and the 2nd one is "Feast, Without Fear". The first one (so far) could be writing about you and me and all the things we have tried. It is about intermittent fasting. I am not sure but she could be leading up to OMAD. The second one is about food and how one size doesn't fit all. I haven't started that one yet. I am loving the info so far.
