Woke at 225.2, down 2.2 from yesterday. Emily is coming down today and she, Jason, and I are going out for dinner later and maybe a movie. Started the day with some protein coffee. Have really been enjoying that but I've clearly been breaking my nightly fast earlier than normal. That will change when the stuff is gone. Will enter November with a stricter plan. UPDATE: Weighed in at 3:15 as I need to go pick up Em from the airport. Got to 222.8. UPDATE: Had a great sushi dinner with Jason an Emily, and then had to go to a later show because the first one was sold out. So we found ourselves at Hershey's Ice Cream shop, where we each had a cone. Yes, I went big! Enjoyed the movie Venom afterward. Back after it tomorrow!

Interesting. Was reading an article about how our bodies get more efficient burning calories as we restrict our intake. Think that is true for you?

Congrats on the 2.2 lbs. That's good. Maybe you don't really have to worry about night time fasting every night. Just eating something light at night to keep the hunger pains away. :)

Have fun Bill. If I keep up my current discipline I may enter into November like a bat out of hell. Keeping a side diary outside of FS and hopefully after 4 weeks of tweaking I will be able to share this new protocol to possibly help those stuck in the hamster wheel

Cristina, I bought a "Keto Mojo" tester which does both glucose and ketones. Their keto test strips are the lowest cost I could find, $0.99 each (glucose strips are much) cheaper. The little spring-loaded device included to prick the finger, is nearly painless.

I got one two they have packages available on amazon, I have prime so I can get it shipped faster for free. when you order direct they can take a while to get it to you. look for the packages that give you 2 50 packs of strips, the basic package you only get I think 10 ketone strips. you can buy the ketone strips separately if you don't want the glucose. and don't forget your twist off needle things I forget what they are called right now, drinking coffee
