Woke at 215.0, down 1.0 from yesterday. Looking at my August FS calendar, I see that I had exactly a 1000 per day average calorie deficit (2779 burned vs. 1779 eaten). Actually, FS does not always capture the Fitbit burn correctly, so the deficit was slightly more. Entering September with a plan of mostly OMAD with a bit more protein, and a goal of 1500 calories per day (which will provide a fabulous dinner each day). The target macros are 130 protein, 100 fat, and 20 carbs. Higher on protein than I have gone for quite a while, but reading a lot about 'carnivore' lately. I will also add a three-day water fast near the end of the month. Let's see what happens. UPDATE: Fasted until 6 pm. Weighed 214.2 before that. Will do it again tomorrow to see if I can do a drop from last week's weigh-in. UPDATE: Significant biological movement after dinner had me wondering about the scale. I hopped on and got down 213.2 weigh in, even after dinner!

I've been reading that to check if you're eating too much protein, check your blood sugar an hour after eating it - if your bs goes up then the excess protein has been turned to sugar.

If you can give up all those other things I think you may like it. It can take adjustment though. I have a hard time getting enough fat and if I eat the wrong kind for me, it runs right through me. did you sign up over at Principia Carnivora?? they have a ton of info over there. there are links to info on the plan and other peoples journeys. some chat over there too, but not a lot.
